Maan Municipality closes down shops, bakery for health violations

AMMAN — The Greater Maan Municipality on Wednesday closed a number of food shops due to non-compliance with health regulations. Head of the municipal control department Khaled Mashri told the Jordan News Agency, Petra that, in cooperation with the Joint Public Safety Committee and during the inspection tours, a number of shops violating health conditions were closed in addition to a bakery in violation of the regulations. He added that the owners of the shops were referred to the judiciary.
