Maan installing speed bumps to prevent drifting

AMMAN — Maan municipality has started setting up speed bumps on the city’s roads to ensure traffic safety and limit the phenomenon of street drifting, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
The municipality received many complaints from residents over incidents of drifting, which endangers to the lives of pedestrians and motorists, Maan Mayor Majed Sharari told Petra.
He said a JD15,000 tender was floated to set up the speed bumps around the governorate, especially near areas where street drifting is most common.
