Lower House panel to draft reply to Speech from Throne holds meeting

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Monday said that His Majesty King Abdullah's Speech from the Throne during the inauguration of the third ordinary session of the 19th Parliament serves as a roadmap that the Chamber will follow in the upcoming phase. Safadi made the remarks while chairing a meeting of the House committee entrusted with drafting the Lower Chamber's reply to the Speech from the Throne, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the meeting, committee members elected Ayman Majali as head and Muhamamd Okour as rapporteur.
