Lower House elects president of panel to draft reply to Speech from the Throne

AMMAN — The Lower House's committee to draft a reply to the Speech from the Throne on Thursday elected MP Ayman Majali as president of the panel.

Chairing a committee meeting, Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi said that His Majesty King Abdullah's Speech from the Throne formed a roadmap for the House in the coming stage, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Majali said that the Speech from the Throne outlined the features of the next stage and is considered a "guideline" for the House to continue its constitutional role.
