Lower House deputy speaker receives Egyptian counterpart

AMMAN — Lower House First Deputy Speaker Mustafa Amawi on Monday met with the Egyptian parliament’s deputy speaker, Suleiman Wahdan, and discussed bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.

During the meeting, attended by chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee MP Bassam Manasir, the two sides also discussed items on the agenda of the 18th meeting of the executive committee of the Arab Parliament, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Amawi stressed the need to enhance Jordanian-Egyptian relations in all fields, especially parliamentary cooperation.
