AMMAN — The Lower House on Monday completed the formation of 14 of its permanent committees. The chamber adjourned the election of the president and rapporteur of its women and family affairs panel due to lack of quorum, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
According to the chamber’s by-law, a committee can be composed of 5 to 11 members, and if the number of candidates exceeds 11, members are elected through ballot within 14 days of the start of each ordinary session.
