Lower House approves reply to Speech from the Throne

AMMAN — The Lower House on Thursday approved its reply to His Majesty King Abdullah’s Speech from the Throne, which he delivered during the inauguration of the 19th Parliament’s ordinary session.

Under the Constitution, the two Houses of Parliament must submit their replies to the King’s Speech from the Throne within 14 days.

The two chambers of Parliament are scheduled to deliver their replies to the King on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
