AMMAN — Foreign Ministry Secretary General Zeid Louzi on Tuesday met with families of Jordanian students who were included in a decision by the Libyan education ministry to cancel their results in this academic year in Libyan schools.
Louzi reviewed the ministry’s efforts in addressing the issue, referring to a meeting on Monday with the Libyan ambassador who pledged to contact Libyan officials to solve the problem, according to a ministry statement.
Nawwaf Ajarmeh, examination director at the Education Ministry, said that the ministry will take all necessary procedures to facilitate the accreditation of students’ certificates, stressing that the students have to pass a cognitive exam.
