Lecture held on ‘art of erntrepreneurship’

AMMAN — MadfooatCom, an e-billing company, in cooperation with the Jordan Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (JEIA) on Wednesday hosted a lecture titled “The Art of Entrepreneurship” at King Hussein Business Park.
Saad Barak, a businessman and investor from Kuwait who formerly worked as chief executive officer in Jordanian telecommunications companies, delivered the keynote address.
In his speech, Barak encouraged the audience to develop the skills necessary to become successful entrepreneurs.
“Every entrepreneur is unique and the only true failure for an entrepreneur is the fear to launch,” he said during the lecture, which was attended by The Jordan Times along with a number of entrepreneurs, businesspeople and Jordanian innovators.
Ala’a Sallal, JEIA spokesperson and a speaker at the lecture said that, the JEIA supports entrepreneurs and small-scale enterprises. “The association provides all the needed aid for entrepreneurs to launch their businesses,” he said.
MadfooatCom started as an entrepreneurial business idea. Founded in 2011, the company has managed to create a partnership with the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), providing electronic payment services and e-billing services to both the private and public sectors, Nasser Saleh, founder of MadfooatCom, said during his speech.
