Labour minister meets Qatari counterpart in Doha

AMMAN — Labour Minister Nayef Istitieh on Tuesday met with Qatari Labour Minister Ali Said Samikh Al Marri. The meeting came as part of the ongoing follow-up on the agreement related to recruiting Jordanians in the Gulf country and the technical cooperation memo signed between both countries.

Talks during the Doha-held meeting emphasised the need to enhance cooperation in the field of expertise exchange, occupational standards, employer inspection and promotion of occupational health and safety, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
