Labour minister launches 'Himma' programme

AMMAN — Labour Minister Nayef Istitieh on Wednesday attended the launch of the "Himma" programme, aimed to enhance the capabilities of middle management staff in government entities to prepare them to assume leadership positions.
The "Himma" programme came in implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein's directives and in line with the economic and administrative modernisation visions that aim to boost the performance of the development sector and improve service provision, Istitieh said.
Highlighting the importance of the programme, the minister said that the programme is implemented in an interactive and participatory manner to improve the employees' performance, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
