Labour Minister inaugurates 3rd industrial job fair

AMMAN — Labour Minister Samir Murad on Wednesday inaugurated the third industrial job fair in Amman, which is organised by the Eastern Amman Investors Industrial Association in cooperation with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Murad said that the ministry's role is to organise the labour market and create a suitable working environment through legislation and organised procedures, noting that such events contribute to networking and linking job seekers with employers. The minister called on the youth to head for vocational and technical training and education instead of the academic professions, especially the ones on low demand.
