Labour minister hosts UAE ambassador over boosting cooperation

AMMAN — Jordan-UAE relations are “strong and well established” and in constant development because of the two countries economic and political ties, Labour Minister Nidal Bataineh said on Wednesday.
During a meeting with the UAE’s ambassador to Jordan, Ahmed Ali Al Balushi, Bataineh said that the region’s economic challenges require further consultation and coordination between the two countries, specifically in the areas of labour, data and capacity building.
The relations between the two countries are based on common understanding of the need for strong cooperation to tackle all forms of challenges, Bataineh said.
