Labour minister chairs meeting to discuss Dar Al Dawa workers’ strike

AMMAN — Labour Minister Samir Murad on Monday chaired a meeting to discuss the Dar Al Dawa Company workers’ strike, which is ongoing since last Tuesday, demanding their labour rights and improving their living conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Murad stressed his keenness to maintain the positive atmosphere that seeks to resolve the labour dispute and the latest strike of workers, and the need to resume constructive communication for the benefit of the national economy. He pointed out the importance of social dialogue among all parties.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abed Alraheem Jardaneh, Director General Khaled Kurdi, representatives of the employees, the President of General Trade Union of Workers in Health Services Mohammad Ghanem and Labour Relations Manager at the Ministry of Labour Hani Sawalha.
