Awqaf director at the district Mohammad Zu’bi said that following the appointment, all 176 mosques in the district now have imams, adding that seven preachers were also hired outside of the directorate’s cadres, to give religious lessons at seven mosques that receive larger numbers of worshippers.
He said the lessons will focus on the wisdom behind fasting and its benefits, as well as to answer the inquiries of fasting worshippers.
