Kofahi attends graduation of civil protection academy’s fourth class

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Crown Prince Hussein, Civil Defence Department Director Lt. Gen. Talal Kofahi on Thursday attended the graduation ceremony of the fourth class of Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection.

During the ceremony at the Culture Palace, Kofahi, who chairs the academy’s higher council, handed certificates to 134 graduates who specialised in fire safety engineering, public safety, disaster management and paramedics, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The academy, inaugurated in 2009, aims to establish an international and specialised centre in the fields of civil defence and protection.
