King visits Manaseer Industrial Complex in Qatraneh

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday visited Manaseer Industrial Complex, which includes a cement factory and a 35-megawatt power plant, located in Qatraneh.

King Abdullah, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, listened to a briefing on the complex, which provides 750 direct and 2,500 indirect job opportunities, according to a Royal Court statement.

The complex, an investment valued at nearly JD1 billion, has regional offices in seven other countries and exports products to 20 international markets.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan accompanied the King on the visit.
