King visits army headquarters

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), visited the army headquarters on Tuesday.

The King was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, HRH Prince Feisal, and senior officers.

His Majesty met with Zaben, who is also the King’s military adviser, and discussed several army-related issues.

King Abdullah expressed his confidence in the army, commending its advanced level of preparedness, armament and training.
