King, on Veterans Day, issues directives to disburse JD100 to army, security personnel, retirees

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Tuesday issued directives to disburse JD100 to active and retired army and security agencies’ personnel on the occasion of Veterans Day.

February 15 was designated as Veterans Day, upon King Abdullah’s directives in 2012 in recognition of the services and sacrifices of retired servicemen and veterans, according to a Royal Court statement.
