King receives Uzbekistan FM

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov at Al Husseiniya Palace.

The meeting, attended by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, covered ways to strengthen relations between Jordan and Uzbekistan, and expand economic and trade cooperation across various fields, in addition to issues of mutual concern, a Royal Court statement said.

The meeting also covered the latest regional developments, especially in Gaza and Syria.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh attended the meeting.
