King receives US chairman of joint chiefs of staff

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley.

Discussions at the meeting covered means to advance the defence partnership between the United States and Jordan, according to a Royal Court statement.

International efforts to counter terrorism within a holistic approach were also discussed.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti attended the meeting.
