AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a telephone call from King Mohammad VI of Morocco.
The two leaders discussed the current conditions in the Middle East, challenges facing the region and ways to deal with them.
They also reviewed the relations between the two countries as well as Arab and regional causes of mutual concern, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah is currently on an official visit to Washington, which he started on Tuesday with a series of meetings with US congressmen.
Earlier this week, the King met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi during a brief working visit to Cairo, where the two sides coordinated their positions on various issues, ahead of the US visit.
They also examined international and regional efforts to combat terrorism and underlined their support for the international coalition that is fighting terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq.
