AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah and King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander stressed on Thursday the strong cooperation and the historic relations between the two countries, expressing their commitment to developing the Jordan-Netherland ties in the various fields.
During a meeting in Amman, the King said the visit of the King of the Netherlands represents an important opportunity to build on these good relations, in a manner that achieves mutual interests, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Willem-Alexander is currently visiting the Kingdom to check on his country's forces that are participating along with those of several other countries in the anti-terrorism international coalition.
King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben attended the meeting.
