King receives letter from newly appointed PSD director

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received a letter from Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, in reply to a letter from His Majesty.

In the letter, the newly appointed PSD director expressed his appreciation for the trust granted by King Abdullah in appointing him, expressing the PSD’s commitment to His Majesty’s directives, according to a Royal Court statement.

He affirmed that the PSD will continue working to fight crime in all its forms, while exerting efforts to counter drugs, safeguard investments, and mitigate traffic jams.
