King receives Japan Self-Defence Forces chief of staff

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received the Chief of Staff of the Japan Self-Defence Forces Gen. Koji Yamazaki.

The meeting, attended by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, covered ties between Jordan and Japan and means of enhancing military and defence cooperation, in addition to the latest regional and international developments, according to a Royal Court statement.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and Japan’s defence attaché to Jordan attended the meeting.
