King receives delegation from Business Executives for American National Security Group

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received a delegation from the Business Executives for American National Security Group (BENS) at Al Husseiniya Palace.

King Abdullah commended the strong, strategic relations between Jordan and the United States, expressing keenness to further enhance relations across all sectors, according to a Royal Court statement.

At the meeting, His Majesty highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation to counter joint global challenges, especially those connected to food security, energy and climate change.

The meeting also covered regional and international developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.

BENS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan US-based network of business and industry executives who apply best business practices to address security challenges facing the United States.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan attended the meeting.
