King receives cables on 23rd anniversary of assumption of constitutional powers

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah has received cables marking the 23rd anniversary of his assumption of constitutional powers, which falls on Monday, February 7.

The cables’ senders — senior officials and officers, and representatives of civil society organisations — highlighted the achievements of His Majesty the late King Hussein, who dedicated his life to Jordan, according to a Royal Court statement.

They said Jordan, under King Abdullah’s leadership, is moving ahead into further progress and prosperity.
