AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday discussed regional developments and means to deal with them in a manner that would boost the security and stability of the Middle East region.
During a telephone conversation, the two leaders discussed ways to develop and foster Jordanian-Russian relations in various fields, a Royal Court statement said.
They also reviewed several issues of mutual concern, according to the statement.
His Majesty has recently been engaged in a flurry of diplomacy and contacts with regional and international leaders after the military stepped up an air campaign against the Daesh terror group.
