AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah met on Sunday in Dallas, Texas, with eight-year-old Jordanian Shahm Al Manna, who is currently receiving medical treatment at a children's hospital in Philadelphia, according to a Royal Court statement.
During the meeting, the King invited Shahm and his family to attend the Jordan national football team's (Al Nashama) match against Argentina, fulfilling the young boy's wish to watch the national team play live.
Shahm suffers from multiple neurological and muscular disorders that prevent him from walking without the use of an electric wheelchair. He had previously expressed his hope of attending the Al Nashama-Argentina match in person.
