King meets Mitsubishi chairman over economic cooperation

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday discussed cooperation with Chairman of the Board of Mitsubishi Corporation Mikio Sasaki, who is also chairman of the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Society, according to a Royal Court statement.

The meeting was held in Maan on the sidelines of His Majesty's inauguration of several solar energy projects. The King and Sasaki discussed investment opportunities provided by the Jordanian economy, especially in the energy sector, in which Mitsubishi Corporation is deemed a "strategic partner", according to the statement.
