AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of Singapore Teo Chee Hean, who delivered an invitation to His Majesty from Singapore’s President Halimah Yacob to attend an international conference in July 2019 on cohesive societies.

Talks covered means to expand cooperation between Jordan and Singapore in all areas, with King Abdullah affirming the “deep ties” between the two countries, according to a Royal Court statement.

Hean voiced Singapore’s appreciation for Jordan’s role, led by King Abdullah, in seeking security and stability in the Middle East.

Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Adnan Jundi and the accompanying Singaporean delegation attended the meeting.
