AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Thursday with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, discussed coordinating bilateral and international efforts to counter the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The phone call covered the importance of countering the humanitarian and economic impact of COVID-19 and stepping up efforts to safeguard public health and wellbeing, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah stressed the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and India and keenness to advance cooperation across all sectors, the statement said.
