King expresses condolences over Indonesian plane crash victims

AMMAN/MEDAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday sent a cable of condolences to Indonesia President Joko Widodo over the loss of life in an air force plane crash in the city of Medan on Tuesday.

In the cable, the King expressed his condolences and sympathies to the president and people of Indonesia. The air force plane crashed into a residential neighbourhood, killing at least 142 people, Agence France-Presse reported. The plane was carrying 122 people.
