King departs on private visit

His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania, on Thursday departed on a private visit, which will be followed by a working visit to the United States.

HRH Crown Prince Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members, according to a Royal Court statement.
