King, Crown Prince receive cables on late King Hussein’s 85th birthday

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah has received cables from senior officials and officers on the anniversary of the late King Hussein's birthday, which falls on November 14. HRH Crown Prince Hussein received similar cables on the occasion, according to a Royal Court statement.

Officials paid tribute to the late King Hussein's efforts to modernise Jordan, as he led the Kingdom over 47 years, noting that Jordanians will always remember his dedication to Jordan and his legacy that still lives on in achievements across the country.

They also commended King Abdullah’s leadership in continuing Jordan’s progress and bolstering its Arab and international role, while highlighting the Kingdom as an oasis of security and stability.
