AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, performed noon prayers on the last Friday of Ramadan at the Great Ajloun Mosque.
His Majesty listened to the Friday sermon delivered by Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel, in which he highlighted the meanings of tranquility and peace in Islam.
The mosque, which recently underwent restoration work, dates back to the era of Ayyubid Sultan Najmuddin Ayyub and was built in 1247.
