AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday expressed his best wishes to Jordanians on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammad, marked on Monday according to the Islamic lunar calendar.
“On the day (of Al Mawlid), marking the birth of our great Hashemite grandfather Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, I extend my warmest wishes to the Arab and Muslim nation and to all Jordanians, asking God Almighty to bless us all with prosperity and wellbeing,” the King said in a statement posted on the Royal Court’s official Facebook page.
HRH Crown Prince Hussein also wrote: “Wishes of peace and prosperity on Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi #OurJordan” in a post on his official Instagram page. On the occasion, the King and the Crown Prince received cables of good wishes from several leaders of Arab and Muslim countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. They also received similar cables from senior officials and officers.
