King congratulates newly elected German chancellor

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday sent a cable to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to congratulate him on his election by the Bundestag.

In the cable, King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan’s keenness to advance its strategic partnership with Germany in various fields, and to work with Berlin towards global peace and prosperity, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Majesty wished the chancellor success, and the people of Germany further progress and prosperity.
