King congratulates May on appointment as UK premier

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable to Theresa May, congratulating her on her appointment as prime minister of the UK, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Majesty highlighted the historic Jordan-UK relations and stressed the importance of boosting them further.
