King congratulates Kuwaiti emir, people on national day

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday sent a cable to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, congratulating him and the people of Kuwait on the anniversary of Kuwait’s national day, on February 25.

In the cable, the King expressed his best wishes to Sheikh Sabah and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kuwaiti people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The occasion marks the creation of Kuwait as a nation in 1961.
