King congratulates Indonesian president on assuming power

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday sent a cable to Joko Widodo, congratulating him on the assumption of his constitutional powers as president of Indonesia.

The King expressed Jordan’s commitment to strengthening ties and developing cooperation with Indonesia in the service of Islamic causes and the best interests of the two countries.
