King congratulates European Commission president on reelection

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah has sent a cable to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, expressing congratulations on her reelection.

In the cable, His Majesty stressed Jordan’s keenness to continue working with von der Leyen to advance Jordan’s relations with the European Union to the level of a Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership, in service of mutual interests, as well as regional and international peace and stability.

The King wished the European Commission president continued success.
