King congratulates China’s Xi on his reelection as party general secretary

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday sent a cable to Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulating him on his reelection as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, according to a Royal Court statement.

The King affirmed Jordan's keenness to continue strengthening cooperation and strategic partnership with China in various fields, thus contributing to the common interests of the two countries and enhancing regional and global security and stability. In his cable, His Majesty wished the Chinese president good health and the people of China further progress and prosperity.
