King congratulates Biden on inauguration as US president

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday took to Twitter to congratulate US President Joe Biden on his inauguration, hailing the "strategic partnership and enduring friendship" between the two countries.

"We highly value our strategic partnership and enduring friendship with the United States, and we look forward to working with you in pursuit of global peace and prosperity," the King tweeted.
