King congratulates Abe for reelection as ruling party president

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday sent a cable of congratulations to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on his reelection as president of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party.

In the cable, His Majesty expressed Jordan’s keenness to enhance cooperation and strategic partnership relations with Japan in all fields, and to jointly work towards realising peace and stability in the region and the world, according to a Royal Court statement. King Abdullah wished Abe continued good health, and the Japanese people further progress and prosperity.
