King condoles Iraq president over victims of hospital fire

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Wednesday with Iraq President Barham Salih, extended condolences over the victims of the Imam Hussein Teaching Hospital fire in Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, which killed scores and injured others.

King Abdullah expressed sympathies on behalf of the Jordanian people and government, wishing the injured a speedy recovery and stressing Jordan’s readiness to support the Iraqi people, according to a Royal Court statement.
