King commends former House speaker’s efforts

AMMAN —His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday commended Deputy Abdul Monem Odat for his efforts as speaker of the House of Representatives during the previous non-ordinary session of the 19th Parliament.

During a meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace, King Abdullah stressed the important legislative and oversight role of the House of Representatives, according to a Royal Court statement
