King accepts credentials of new ambassadors to Jordan

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday accepted the credentials of a number of newly appointed ambassadors to Jordan, during a ceremony at Basman Palace.
King Abdullah accepted the credentials of ambassadors Eldar Salimov of Azerbaijan, Sajjad Ali Khan of Pakistan, Eitan Surkis of Israel, Harry Verweij of the Netherlands, Espen Lindbæck of Norway, George Cristian Maior of Romania, and Attila Kali of Hungary, as well as non-resident ambassadors Nelson Manuel Cosme of Angola, and Manuela Franco of Portugal, according to a Royal Court statement.
Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi attended the ceremony.
