Khasawneh receives Lebanese PM

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Thursday received Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati. Khasawneh and his Lebanese counterpart emphasised the "distinguished" Jordanian-Lebanese relations, expressing keenness to advance cooperation in various fields, in service of both countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Khasawneh reiterated Amman's support for Beirut in their effort in addressing their challenges and boosting stability. Mikati expressed appreciation of His Majesty King Abdullah's stances in support of Lebanon, expressing commitment to bolstering bilateral ties in various fields.
