Katamine meets outgoing US ambassador

AMMAN — Labour and Tourism Minister Nidal Katamine on Tuesday met with outgoing US Ambassador to Jordan Stuart E. Jones.

Katamine highlighted Jordan’s strong relations with the US, reiterating the importance of boosting further cooperation.

The minister presented a briefing on Jordan’s tourism sector and the improvements in guest workers’ conditions in the Kingdom.

Jones commended the Labour Ministry’s procedures, voicing admiration of the efforts to put Jordan on the world tourism map.
